Opportunity description

Numbering in accordance with the SWZ: 3.1. The subject matter of the contract is: Successive deliveries of disposable articles (medical and non-medical) and small medical equipment described in detail in Appendix No. 2 to the SWZ (with a quantitative option right). 3.2. The description of the subject matter of the contract is contained in Appendix No. 2 to the SWZ and the draft contract (Appendix No. 5). 3.3. On the basis of exercising the option right, the Contracting Authority may additionally place orders for the delivery of goods constituting the subject matter of the contract, up to a total maximum value not exceeding 30% of the value of the basic contract for a given package, under the conditions specified in the contract (quantitative option). However, if the number of packages that may be ordered within the established limit is not a whole number, the number of packages shall be rounded down to the nearest whole number so that the subject matter of the contract under the option right includes full packages and the value of the subject matter of the contract performed under the option right does not exceed the percentage limit of the maximum value specified in the preceding sentence. 3.4. Exercise of the option right referred to in section 3.3. will depend on the needs of the Contracting Authority and the availability of financial resources. The Contracting Authority may exercise the option right in particular in the event of: a) increased demand for the subject matter of the contract that was unforeseen at the estimation stage, b) the need to ensure continuity in the provision of healthcare services, c) obtaining financial resources allowing the scope of the contract to be expanded.
