Opportunity description

The subject of the contract is the provision by PKP Intercity S.A. of an ED250 series electric multiple unit (Pendolino), together with the necessary train crew and technical support, for the purpose of conducting GSM-R system test runs carried out by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. on railway line No. 4, the Central Railway Main Line. The subject of the contract includes in particular: 1. Provision of one ED250 series electric multiple unit holding a current authorization for operation on the PKP PLK S.A. network; 2. Provision of train crew comprising a train driver and the personnel required to conduct the test runs; 3. Provision of the technical personnel necessary to prepare and operate the vehicle; 4. Ensuring the vehicle’s technical readiness to conduct runs at speeds of up to 250 km/h; 5. Enabling the installation, powering, operation, and removal of measuring equipment used during GSM-R system tests; 6. Conducting runs in accordance with the test schedule and dispatcher timetables prepared by the Contracting Authority.. Contract performance period: from 17 August 2026 to 30 November 2026. The subject of the Contract is the provision by the Contractor of services consisting in the provision by PKP Intercity S.A. of an ED250 series electric multiple unit (Pendolino), together with the necessary train crew and technical support, for the purpose of conducting GSM R system test runs carried out by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. on railway line No. 4, the Central Railway Main Line.
