Opportunity description
1) The subject matter of the contract is the expansion of the network security system currently in use in the areas of routing, firewall, IPSec VPN, antivirus, IPS, application control and secure VPN tunnels with additional network devices specified in Annexes Nos. 2A-B to the SWZ, hereinafter referred to as the “devices”. The devices offered must be brand-new and unused, come from current production (year of production: no earlier than 2025), and have the relevant certificates permitting their sale and use in the territory of the Republic of Poland. The Contractor is obliged to provide free warranty service for the devices and technical support provided in Polish. 2) The scope of the contract includes: the purchase and delivery of the devices to the Contracting Authority’s premises, including unloading, full implementation of the devices in the system, including migration of the configuration, and training of administrators. The Contractor is obliged to provide free warranty service for the devices and technical support provided in Polish. 3) A detailed description of the subject matter of the contract is provided in Annexes Nos. 2A-B to the SWZ 4) The Contracting Authority permits the submission of tenders for parts, in accordance with the following division: a) Part A: devices performing the firewall function - 3 units, fiber-optic modules – 40 units. b) Part B: switches - 12 units, fiber-optic modules – 30 units. 5) The Contracting Authority does not provide for the possibility of submitting variant tenders. 6) The Contracting Authority does not provide for the award of contracts for additional supplies within the meaning of Article 214(1)(8) of the Pzp Act. 6) Contract performance deadline: up to 10 weeks from the date of receipt of the order. The Contractor may shorten the contract performance deadline in relation to the required deadline. A tender providing for a shortened performance deadline will receive points as part of the evaluation of tenders using the criterion for selecting the most advantageous tender. 8) Delivery and installation address: University of Silesia in Katowice, Network and Network Services Administration Department, Ul. Bankowa 14, room 411b, 40-007 Katowice 9) Required minimum warranty and technical support period: 60 months from the date of signing the acceptance report. By technical support, the Contracting Authority means access to software updates, remote assistance, and repair or replacement of the device in the event of a defect. Support must be provided by an entity holding an ISO 9001 certificate or equivalent for the provision of service support.
