The subject matter of the contract is the supply of medicines, including infusion fluids, medicines intended for parenteral nutrition, enteral nutrition preparations, and contrast media for the needs of the Centre for Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery in Bystra. Within individual Packages, the Contracting Authority requires a tender to be submitted for the full scope of the subject matter of the contract relating to the given Package. By the supply of a medicine, the Contracting Authority means the recurring supply of the medicine during the term of the contract in accordance with orders placed by the Contracting Authority. The Contracting Authority will place orders for medicines in the form of scheduled orders and so-called “cito” orders – for rescue. Scheduled deliveries must be completed by the Contractor within a maximum of 2 working days (working days are understood as Monday to Friday, excluding statutory public holidays) from the placement of the order by the Contracting Authority, while “cito” deliveries must be completed within a maximum of 24 hours, whereby: − “cito” deliveries take place 7 days a week regardless of the pharmacy’s working hours, and due to the specific nature of this type of delivery, the performance deadline is not extended to the next working day, − ordinary deliveries take place on working days between 7:00 and 14:00. If a delivery falls on a non-working day or Saturday or outside the hospital pharmacy’s working hours, delivery will take place on the first working day following the designated deadline. In exceptional situations, the Contracting Authority permits the Contractor to deliver medicines with a shelf life shorter than 6 months, provided that the consent of an authorised representative of the Contracting Authority is obtained each time.
