Poland – Radioactive-, toxic-, medical- and hazardous waste services – REMOVAL OF ILLEGALLY STORED HAZARDOUS WASTE IN GŁOGÓW, 8 POŁUDNIOWA STREET

Opportunity description

1. The subject matter and scope of the contract is the removal of all hazardous and non-hazardous waste illegally accumulated and stored on the property at 8 Południowa Street in Głogów, on plots Nos. 244 and 23/28, Nadodrze cadastral district, Głogów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, placed in various types of containers (including drums of various capacities, IBC containers, etc.) in an open area (partially paved) and in a warehouse, and subjecting it to final recovery processes or final disposal processes appropriate to the properties of the waste. The estimated quantity of waste is approx. 3 500,00 Mg. 2. Due to the lack of a complete inventory of the illegally stored waste (the composition, properties and Waste codes of the waste located in the individual containers and tanks), the Waste must be treated as waste with code 16 81 01* – exhibiting hazardous properties (subgroup: Waste resulting from accidents and unforeseen events), or 16 03 05* (organic waste containing hazardous substances), 16 05 06* laboratory and analytical chemicals (e.g. chemical reagents) containing hazardous substances, including mixtures of laboratory and analytical chemicals through other hazardous waste – in accordance with the court expert’s opinion. The indicative composition and properties of the Waste were specified in the Court Expert’s Opinion. 3. The above task is carried out on the basis of Decision No. WOŚ.DŚ.6236.3.2024 of 25 April 2024 of the Mayor of the City of Głogów, issued pursuant to Article 26a(1), (2)(3), and (3)–(5) of the Act of 14 December 2012 on waste, in connection with the need to take action consisting of removing and managing the waste in question due to the threat it poses to human health and life and to the environment, and Decision No. WOŚ.DŚ.6236.2.2025 of 18 June 2025. 4. A detailed description of the subject matter of the contract is set out in Appendix No. 1 A to the SWZ. 5. The Contracting Authority states that it will perform the contract using the option right, i.e.: 1. Within the following scope: − basic (guaranteed), − optional, if the option right is exercised. 2. The basic scope of the contract covers the removal, transport and disposal of approx. 3.500 Mg of waste. 3. The additional scope (option) of the contract covers the removal, transport and subjection to final recovery processes or final disposal processes of at least 107 Mg of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, hereinafter referred to as the “optional contract” or the “option right,” illegally deposited on plot No. 23/19, Nadodrze cadastral district, Głogów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship (8 Południowa Street). The Contracting Authority may exercise the option right if the decision issued by the Mayor of the City of Głogów pursuant to Article 26a of the Act of 14 December 2012 on waste (Journal of Laws 2023, item 1587, as amended) becomes final.
