Opportunity description

The subject matter of the contract is the provision of municipal waste collection and management services for such waste from owners of properties inhabited by residents, properties with summer cottages, or other properties used for recreational and leisure purposes, generated within the Municipality of Ogrodzieniec. 1. The subject matter of the contract is the provision of municipal waste collection and management services for such waste from owners of properties inhabited by residents, properties with summer cottages, or other properties used for recreational and leisure purposes, generated within the Municipality of Ogrodzieniec. 2. The scope of the subject matter of the contract includes the collection and management of the entire stream of municipal waste generated by owners of properties located within the Municipality of Ogrodzieniec and inhabited by residents, with a view to achieving the appropriate levels of recycling, preparation for reuse and recovery by other methods of certain fractions of municipal waste, and reducing the mass of biodegradable municipal waste sent to landfill as part of the entrusted task. 3. The Contractor is obliged to handle waste in accordance with the applicable provisions of law, in particular in a manner consistent with the waste management principles set out in the Act of 14 December 2012 on Waste and the Act of 13 September 1996 on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in Municipalities. 4. The subject matter of the contract must be performed in a manner aimed at achieving the appropriate levels of recycling, preparation for reuse and recovery by other methods of certain fractions of municipal waste, and reducing the mass of biodegradable municipal waste sent to landfill. 5. The management of collected municipal waste must comply with the waste hierarchy set out in Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. 6. Under the agreement with the Contracting Authority, the Contractor shall provide properties, free of charge, with containers having the minimum capacity specified in the Contracting Authority's Regulations on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order. 7.
