Opportunity description

1. The subject matter of the contract is: − provision of a service involving the removal of waste from the indicated locations within the country where it has previously been stored, including loading the waste onto the Contractor’s transport units engaged for this purpose and preparing the waste for transport from the places where it has previously been stored to final recovery and/or disposal facilities, excluding landfilling; - provision of a waste management service comprising the transport of waste from the places where it has previously been stored and the transfer of the waste to a final recovery and/or final disposal facility, located within the country and holding a permit to conduct the recovery or disposal of waste bearing the relevant code, and subjecting the waste to final recovery/disposal processes, excluding landfilling. Final recovery and/or disposal of the waste may be preceded by interim processes; - submission of documentation confirming the management of the waste through a final recovery/disposal process, excluding landfilling, in accordance with the requirements described in the description of the subject matter of the contract. 2. The Contracting Authority permits the submission of partial tenders for any part or parts of the contract. The tender must include all assortment items within the part of the contract for which it is submitted. 3. The description of the subject matter of the contract and the method of its performance is contained in Appendix No. 8 to the SWZ – “Description of the subject matter of the contract”, respectively for each part of the contract. This description must be read together with amendments to the content of the SWZ resulting, for example, from answers provided to contractors’ questions. 4. As part of the performance of the contract, the Contractor is required to ensure (depending on the Part of the Contract), under the terms and in the manner stipulated in the Contract: - that every vehicle used to transport waste is equipped with a satellite-based position monitoring system (GPS) or an equivalent system enabling continuous recording of the vehicle’s route; - that every waste shipment is equipped with a cargo security monitoring system, i.e. secured with an electronic GPS seal or an equivalent monitoring device ensuring control of the integrity of the shipment; - a video surveillance system at the location from which the waste is removed. - the characteristics and photographs of the waste are contained in Appendix No. 1 to the OPZ. - the minimum requirements for the systems are contained in Appendix No. 2 to the OPZ. 5. A detailed description of the subject matter of the contract is contained in the “Price Form” – Appendices Nos. 9a, 9b and 9c to the SWZ, respectively for each part of the contract.
