Opportunity description
1. Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV) classification code: 50700000-2 (repair and maintenance services of building installations). 2. The subject of the contract is the provision of servicing, maintenance, and continuous operational upkeep of the deionized water system installations and equipment, hereinafter referred to as the “service”, in the buildings of the University of Gdańsk. 3. A detailed description of the subject of the contract is specified in the Description of the annual scope of activities – Annex No. 6 to the SWZ. 4. The Contractor must conduct round-the-clock servicing activities relating to the operation of deionized water production and distribution systems and provide the Contracting Authority with at least two contact telephone numbers and an electronic mail address (e-mail) for reporting any failures and other needs of the Contracting Authority related to the performance of the contract. 5. In the event of a failure, the Contractor is obliged to take immediate action to remedy it, in consultation with the Technical Property Maintenance Department and the appropriate Administrator of the relevant University of Gdańsk facility. 6. Service response time to a reported defect: no more than 7 hours, whereby the Contractor may offer a shorter service response time to a reported defect. The service response time to a reported defect constitutes one of the tender evaluation criteria, which is described in detail in Chapter XVI of the SWZ. The service response time to a reported defect shall mean the time calculated from notifying the Contractor of the improper operation of equipment or installations, by telephone at one of the two telephone numbers provided by the Contractor (SMS permitted) or electronically at the Contractor’s e-mail address, until the Contractor begins repair activities at the location of the failure. 7. The Contractor is obliged to comply with the requirements of fire safety and occupational health and safety regulations, in particular construction and installation regulations, as well as the DTR, the operating instructions for the deionized water system installations and equipment, and to perform servicing activities with due diligence, in a manner consistent with the current level of technical knowledge and the systems’ operating instructions. 8. The requirements concerning the guarantee and statutory warranty are described in § 8 of the Draft contract – Annex No. 5 to the SWZ. 9. The requirements concerning the employment by the Contractor or Subcontractor of persons on the basis of an employment relationship, within the meaning of the Act of 26 June 1974, the Labour Code (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2025, item 277, as amended), are contained in § 7a of the draft contract – Annex No. 5 to the SWZ.
