1. The subject matter of the contract is the performance of the task entitled: Supply of chemical agents and gritting materials for winter road maintenance: Task No. 1 – supply of chemical agents (road salt). Task No. 2 – supply of gritting materials – (natural aggregate). 2. Scope of the contract: - Chemical agents (road salt) – 7,400 tonnes; - Gritting materials (natural aggregate) – 4,500 tonnes; including delivery and unloading at the following storage locations: - Road and Bridge District in Babica, - Road and Bridge District in Błażowa, - Road and Bridge District in Wólka Niedźwiedzka, - Material storage location in the town of Rudna Mała, in accordance with the Price Form constituting Appendix No. 2 to the Terms of Reference (SWZ). 1. The subject matter of the contract is the delivery, including unloading, of chemical agents (road salt) in the amount of 7,400 tonnes to the following storage locations: - Road and Bridge District in Babica, - Road and Bridge District in Błażowa, - Road and Bridge District in Wólka Niedźwiedzka, - Material storage location in the town of Rudna Mała, in accordance with the Price Form constituting Appendix No. 2 to the Terms of Reference (SWZ). 2. Requirements: Road salt should be delivered in a non-caked condition (in loose form), without foreign contaminants such as stones, boards, paper, foil, etc., and have the following parameters: - sodium chloride NaCI content – at least 90%; - water content – 3.0% maximum; - content of substances insoluble in water - 8% maximum; - potassium ferrocyanide content (added to prevent salt from caking) - min. 3 mg/kg – max. 125 mg/kg; - salt grain-size composition: Grading in accordance with the requirements of PN-EN 16811-1:2016-10 “Medium road salt, Class M” or equivalent: Content of grains < 0.125 mm - maximum 7%; Content of grains < 0.8 mm 5–35% Content of grains < 1.6 mm 10–60% Content of grains < 3.15 mm 45–90% Content of grains < 6.3 mm 100% (tolerance of 2% by weight of grains in the range from 6.3 mm to 8 mm) - it must not contain substances harmful to health or the environment or ingredients that increase slipperiness. The Contracting Authority permits solutions equivalent to the above-mentioned requirements; however, a Contractor relying on solutions equivalent to the above-mentioned requirements is obliged to demonstrate that the supplies it offers meet the requirements specified by the Contracting Authority. The road salt delivered must: a) have a current technical opinion from the Road and Bridge Research Institute or another entity authorised to conduct this type of testing; b) have a current certificate from the National Institute of Hygiene or an equivalent certificate from an entity authorised to perform quality control; c) have laboratory test results confirming the requirements specified in the Detailed Technical Specification for the subject matter of the contract. The Supplier is obliged to use only such forms of transport as will not adversely affect the quality of the material transported, in particular its moisture content. 1. The subject matter of the contract is the delivery, including unloading, of gritting materials – (natural aggregate in the amount of 4,500 tonnes to the following storage locations: - Road and Bridge District in Babica, - Road and Bridge District in Błażowa, - Road and Bridge District in Wólka Niedźwiedzka, - Material storage location in the town of Rudna Mała, in accordance with the Price Form constituting Appendix No. 2 to the Terms of Reference (SWZ). 2. Requirements: The basic requirement for the natural aggregate being ordered is: - grading of 0–2 mm; - content of fine grains (with a grain size of 0.075 mm) not exceeding 3%; - suitability for use in the production of a mixture with chemical agents to combat winter slipperiness. The aggregate used to provide traction on the pavement should not be too brittle and must not contain silty or clayey contaminants or contaminants such as stones, boards, paper, foil, etc. Gritting materials should not contain contaminants that could increase corrosion of vehicles and steel structures. The materials should be delivered in a dry condition. The Supplier should possess an aggregate quality certificate confirming the required grading, issued by an independent laboratory, or documents issued by the relevant entities within the EU. The material should comply with the parameters specified in the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 27 October 2005 on the types and conditions of use of agents that may be used on public roads and streets and squares (Journal of Laws No. 230 of 2005, item 1960). With each delivery of aggregate, the Contractor shall provide the Contracting Authority with a WZ document confirming the source of origin of the aggregate delivered, consistent with the price form constituting Appendix No. 1 to the agreement.
