Opportunity description
The subject matter of the contract is the Contractor’s implementation of the entire Investment in accordance with the description of the subject matter of the contract provided for in the procedure conducted under the open tender procedure entitled “Construction of a canopy over the stairs and reconstruction of the entrance stairs to Buildings E and F of the Dr. J. Korczak Pediatric Center in Łódź at 71 Piłsudskiego Ave.” In particular, the subject matter of the contract includes: a) Preparation of a construction and detailed design for all disciplines, as appropriate to the subject matter of the contract, technical specifications for the execution and acceptance of construction works, cost estimates, and obtaining a building permit or notification of construction works not requiring a building permit (if required). b) Agreeing the documentation with the Provincial Office for Monument Protection in Łódź and obtaining, before commencing any works or other activities involving a monument entered in the register of monuments, a permit from the Łódź Provincial Monument Conservator to undertake other activities involving a monument entered in the register of monuments, in accordance with the letter of the Łódź Provincial Monument Conservator dated 6 May 2025; c) Designing and constructing the canopy in accordance with the conditions accepted by the Łódź Provincial Monument Conservator, i.e. a canopy made of steel columns and a glass roof covering, with colors corresponding to the existing canopies by the historic buildings, unless the competent monument protection authority permits or orders another solution in the issued permit. d) Execution of construction and installation works on the basis of the prepared detailed design. e) Preparing, on behalf of the Contracting Authority, notifications of the commencement and completion of the works and obtaining the permits required by law that are necessary for constructing the structure and putting it into use (if required), f) Obtaining all permits necessary to carry out the Investment. g) Providing the designer’s authorial supervision within the scope referred to in the Act of 7 July 1994 – Construction Law. h) Organizing and conducting the necessary tests, examinations, measurements, and acceptances, as well as the final acceptance of all works in the relevant stage that are the subject matter of the contract.
