1. The subject matter of this contract is the winter maintenance of county roads in the Municipality of the City of Pabianice, Pabianice Municipality, Ksawerów Municipality and Lutomiersk Municipality and the winter maintenance of pedestrian and bicycle roads in the Municipality of the City of Pabianice, Ksawerów Municipality, Dobroń Municipality, Dłutów Municipality, Pabianice Municipality and Lutomiersk Municipality. 2. The contract is divided into four (4) lots. 3. A detailed description and the method of performance of the contract are contained in the Description of the Subject Matter of the Contract, constituting Annex No 1 to the SWZ. 1. The subject matter of this contract is the winter maintenance of county roads in the Municipality of the City of Pabianice, Pabianice Municipality, Ksawerów Municipality and Lutomiersk Municipality and the winter maintenance of pedestrian and bicycle roads in the Municipality of the City of Pabianice, Ksawerów Municipality, Dobroń Municipality, Dłutów Municipality, Pabianice Municipality and Lutomiersk Municipality. 2. The contract is divided into four (4) lots. Lot No 1 covers the winter maintenance of roads according to standard 3 in the Municipality of the City of Pabianice – the list of county roads specified in Annex No 1 to the Description of the Subject Matter of the Contract constituting Annex No 1 to the SWZ. Winter road maintenance includes (applies to Lot No 1, Lot No 2 and Lot No 3): • mechanical removal of accumulated snow, black ice, ice or slush in accordance with the appropriate standards and the attached list, using a snowplough-gritter or salt spreader with a plough, and, in emergency mode, also a grader and backhoe loader, 4. A detailed description and the method of performance of the contract are contained in the Description of the Subject Matter of the Contract, constituting Annex No 1 to the SWZ. • removal of winter slipperiness and roughening of the carriageway by mechanically spreading a 50% salt-and-sand mixture or road salt on sections of county road surfaces, • mechanical snow clearance and spreading a 50% salt-and-sand mixture or road salt on sections of road surfaces, • loading and removal of snow. 1. Lot No 4 covers the winter maintenance of pedestrian and bicycle roads in the Municipality of the City of Pabianice, Ksawerów Municipality, Dobroń Municipality, Dłutów Municipality, Pabianice Municipality and Lutomiersk Municipality; the list of pedestrian roads, bicycle roads and pedestrian and bicycle roads is specified in Annex No 4 to the Description of the Subject Matter of the Contract constituting Annex No 1 to the SWZ and indicated in graphic annexes Nos 1–6. Winter maintenance of pedestrian and bicycle roads includes (applies to Lot No 4): • mechanical or manual snow clearance of pedestrian roads or bicycle roads or pedestrian and bicycle roads or paved shoulders (a pedestrian road is considered cleared of snow when cleared to a minimum width of 1.50 m, a bicycle road is considered cleared of snow when cleared to a minimum width of 2m (two-way bicycle road) and to a minimum width of 1.5m (one-way bicycle road), and a pedestrian and bicycle road is considered cleared of snow when cleared to a minimum width of 2.5 m), • removal of winter slipperiness, icing and black ice and roughening of pedestrian roads or bicycle roads or pedestrian and bicycle roads or paved shoulders by spreading sand, • removal of winter slipperiness, icing and black ice from pedestrian roads or bicycle roads or pedestrian and bicycle roads or paved shoulders by spreading road salt or calcium chloride (CaCl2), • loading and removal of snow. 4.
