Opportunity description
The subject matter of the contract is the supervision of the design and execution of the Works and management of the Contract entitled: “Design and construction of the S17 Piaski – Hrebenne expressway, implementation section No. 5: ‘Zamość Sitaniec’ interchange without the interchange – ‘Zamość Wschód’ interchange without the interchange”, under the conditions specified in the Agreement with the Consultant and in accordance with the Contract Conditions for the above-mentioned investment project. The service includes the Consultant’s performance of duties in accordance with the Agreement, based on the OWK and SWK, in particular: supervision of the design, verification of the design documentation, its completeness and mutual consistency, performance of check calculations in order to identify any errors, management, performance of investor’s supervision and control over the execution of the works until the date of issuance of the Final Payment Certificate, conducting information and promotional activities related to the implementation of the project and cooperation in this regard with the Contracting Authority, including, among others, the Branch Director, Project Manager and the communications position at the GDDKiA Branch, as well as the Contractor’s Representatives; if the investment is co-financed from EU funds, fulfilment of the obligations arising from the procedures contained in the current requirements/guidelines concerning investments co-financed from EU funds and the current procedures for beneficiaries of FEnIKS Projects for GDDKiA (or procedures that will apply in the next EU financial perspective); provision of investor’s supervision services over the execution of construction works and participation in Warranty Inspections and supervision of the rectification of any faults/defects identified during warranty inspections under the concluded Contract; supporting the Contracting Authority as a loyal and diligent adviser in all activities related to the implementation of the Project; supervision of design work and works within the scope of additional tasks necessary for the performance of the Contract that arise during the performance of the Contract and are awarded pursuant to the Public Procurement Law; continuous monitoring, handling and resolution of matters related to the proper performance by the individual Contractors of the Contractor’s documents and construction works at the interface between adjacent Contracts, as well as close cooperation with the Consultant’s Teams supervising adjacent investments, as a result of which the Consultant will be obliged to develop principles and a method for the proper execution of the Contractor’s documents and construction works. If necessary, the lead Consultant handling coordination at the interface between Projects will be appointed by the Contracting Authority. The Consultant will provide laboratory support to the Contracting Authority’s laboratory. As part of the performance of the agreement, the Consultant is obliged to purchase the construction logs required at the stage of execution of the Works. The Consultant’s Team will be headed by the Contract Engineer. The Contract Engineer will act in accordance with the role assigned to the Engineer in the FIDIC Conditions of Contract and in the SWK, within the scope of the powers specified in this Specification of Contract Terms (SWZ) and arising from the current provisions of the Construction Law, legal acts and guidelines governing the expenditure of European Union Funds. with an estimated value above EUR 140,000.
