Opportunity description

The subject matter of the contract is the provision of services involving supervision of design, management and control, and supervision of the performance of the agreement concluded as a result of the public procurement procedure, the subject matter of which is: “Design and construction of expressway No S11 Szczecinek – Piła, section I Turowo – Podgaje interchange (including the interchange)” and “Design and construction of expressway No S11 Szczecinek – Piła, section II Podgaje (excluding the interchange) – Jastrowie interchange (including the interchange)”, under the conditions specified in the Agreement with the Consultant and in accordance with the Contract Conditions for the investment project. The service includes the Consultant’s performance of duties in accordance with the Agreement, based on the OWK and SWK, in particular: - supervising the design, verifying the design documentation, its completeness and mutual consistency, and verifying the results of checking calculations performed in order to identify possible errors, - managing, providing investor’s supervision and controlling the execution of the works until the date of issuance of the Final Payment Certificate, - carrying out information and promotional activities related to the implementation of the project and cooperating in this regard with the Contracting Authority, including, inter alia, the Branch Director, Project Manager and the communications post at the GDDKiA Branch, - fulfilling reporting obligations arising from EU procedures and cooperating in this regard with GDDKiA services, - fulfilling obligations arising from the procedures contained in the applicable requirements/guidelines concerning investments co-financed from EU funds and the current procedures for beneficiaries of Projects under POIiŚ (or procedures that will apply in the next EU financial perspective), - providing investor’s supervision over the execution of construction works, participating in Warranty Inspections and supervising the rectification of any defects/faults identified during Warranty Inspections under the concluded Contract, - supporting the Contracting Authority as a loyal and diligent adviser in all activities related to the implementation of the Project, - supervising design work and works within the scope of additional tasks necessary to complete the Project that arise during performance of the Contract and are awarded pursuant to the Public Procurement Law, - continuously monitoring, handling and resolving matters related to the proper execution by the respective Contractors of the Contractor’s documents and construction works at the interfaces between adjacent Contracts, and closely cooperating with the Consultant’s Teams supervising adjacent investments, as a result of which the Consultant will be obliged to develop the principles and method for the proper execution of the Contractor’s documents and construction works. If necessary, the Contracting Authority shall appoint the lead Consultant responsible for coordination at the interfaces between the Projects.
