The scope of the contract in Part 1 includes a comprehensive intra-Community land transport service (within the European Union – Czechia) for exhibits required for the temporary exhibition “Jan Wydra in dialogue with the masters. Bruegel, Bosch, Galle, Rembrandt and others”, organised at the National Museum in Lublin, together with accompanying activities, including the delivery of objects to the exhibition (Stage I) and their return to the locations indicated by the Contracting Authority (Stage II). 1) Stage I: delivery of objects to the National Museum in Lublin from: a) Museum of Czech Literature / Památník národního písemnictví, Pélleova 44/22, 160 00, Praha 6, Česká republika, collection: Kamýcká 2293, 412 01 Litoměřice – předměstí b) National Gallery in Prague / Národní galerie v Praze, Staroměstské náměstí 12, 110 15 Praha 1, Česká republika 2) Stage II: return of objects from the National Museum in Lublin to: a) Museum of Czech Literature / Památník národního písemnictví, Pélleova 44/22, 160 00, Praha 6, Česká republika, return: Kamýcká 2293, 412 01 Litoměřice – předměstí b) National Gallery in Prague / Národní galerie v Praze, Staroměstské náměstí 12, 110 15 Praha1, Česká republika 3) The contract includes: a) Preparation, for the duration of transport, of specialised insulated climate-controlled crates with lids, closed with locks or screws, sized to fit the objects being transported (taking into account their frames or protective packaging). The objects must be packed, each in a separate crate. The crates must be suitable for transporting works of art so as to protect the objects against mechanical damage and provide stable microclimatic conditions during transport. The Contractor is obliged to contact the Contracting Authority and the lending museums in order to prepare suitable crates. b) The crates must have bottoms lined with resilient material (polyurethane foam), and the objects transported in them must be immobilised by filling empty spaces with suitable material (e.g. foam); c) Packing the objects at the collection locations; d) Each object must be wrapped using a soft, permeable, chemically inert fabric with a neutral pH (e.g. tyvek); e) Provision of packing materials necessary for proper packing and appropriate to the material and technique used to make the objects and their frames (in accordance with the list of objects constituting Appendix No. 2 to the request). f) Loading the objects onto a vehicle equipped to secure the crates and objects in the correct position, taking into account the following guidelines: • crates and unpacked historic objects, or historic objects packed in non-durable materials that are not resistant to pressure, must not be transported simultaneously in the same means of transport; • stacking crates is prohibited; • objects must be transported in the position in which they will be displayed, parallel to the direction of travel; • historic objects and items that are not historic objects must not be transported simultaneously in the same means of transport; • objects must be protected against mechanical damage, shocks, changes in climatic conditions, contamination, theft and fire; • where required by the lender of the works, mounting elements—wires, hooks and eyelets used to hang the painting—must be removed and secured by taping and appropriate labelling; • objects framed behind glass must be taped with tape that can be easily removed without the use of water or solvents (taping does not apply to plexiglass). We recommend commercially available specialised, single-sided adhesive PE film tapes, available in widths of 5 and 10 cm; • objects must be loaded and unloaded through exits / entrances adapted for loading / unloading works of art (if available); • large and heavy objects / crates must be loaded using lifts or hydraulic platforms; • objects must be transported in vehicles adapted for transporting works of art, i.e. having a level, sealed, air-conditioned and suspension-equipped cargo space that enables historic objects to be secured in the correct position. 3.7. Transport of the objects from the indicated locations in a vehicle adapted for transporting works of art, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of 15 May 2008 on the conditions, method and procedure for moving museum objects and the Regulation of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of 2 September 2014 on protecting museum collections against fire, theft and other dangers threatening their destruction or loss. 4) A detailed description of the subject matter of the contract is provided in Appendix No. 1 to the SWZ.
