Opportunity description

The task consists of cutting and maintaining trees and shrubs in the area of the Gliwice Catchment Management Authority through, inter alia, felling trees with a chainsaw, mechanical stump removal, transporting timber to a storage site, and clearing the area after stump removal. The subject matter of the contract is the performance of work consisting of the cutting and maintenance pruning of trees and shrubs in the area of the indicated organizational units of the Gliwice Catchment Management Authority administered by the State Water Holding Polish Waters. Due to the poor condition of the tree stand, i.e. the presence of complete or significant amounts of deadwood, mechanical damage, and decay of trunks and branches, felling or corrective work is necessary. The trees pose a threat to human life and property and to the neighboring technical infrastructure. Private properties and buildings, fences, and, in some cases, power lines and public roads are located very close to the trees. Individual specific contracts will consist of performing, inter alia, the following principal works: - cutting and maintenance pruning of trees and shrubs, - stump removal, - clearing the area after completion of the work, - loading and transporting wood to a location designated by the Contracting Authority.
