Poland – Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work – Construction of a bridge over the Oder River in Nowa Sól along provincial road No. 315 – under the “design and build” system

Opportunity description

The subject matter of the contract is the design and construction of a bridge over the Oder River in Nowa Sól, together with access roads and the demolition of the existing bridge structure along provincial road No. 315 (Nowa Sól municipality, Nowa Sól county). The scope of the contract includes carrying out all necessary design work and construction and installation works that will enable the provincial road to function properly, in accordance with the applicable provisions of law. Under the contract, the following must be carried out: 1) all necessary design studies enabling the Subject Matter of the Contract to be completed in accordance with the Contracting Authority’s Requirements and the Contract, interchangeably referred to as the Agreement. As part of the design work, the Contractor is obliged to obtain, in the name and on behalf of the Investor, opinions, technical conditions, all arrangements, permits, authorizations, decisions (including obtaining the Decision on Environmental Conditions) and consents necessary to submit an application in order to obtain a decision authorizing the implementation of the road investment (ZRID) or another decision permitting construction and demolition works to be carried out. The Design Work must be conducted on the basis of the PFU, WWiOPP and the relevant provisions of law. 2) all necessary construction works on the basis of the design documentation prepared by the Contractor and approved by the Contracting Authority, the PFU, WWiORB, WWiORM and the relevant provisions of law. In addition, decisions granting an occupancy permit or other documents enabling the Contracting Authority to commence using the structures in accordance with the Construction Law Act must be obtained in the name and on behalf of the Investor.
