Opportunity description

The award procedure aims to award a contract for the supply of a public short-term bicycle rental system (bike sharing), within the project “CREATION OF THE BAIA SPRIE–CHIUZBAIA MOBILITY CORRIDOR”. The description of the products and the technical specifications can be found in the specifications and technical data sheets attached to the procurement documentation. Through this project, an automated bicycle/scooter/tricycle rental system will be implemented in a “free-floating” system, with predefined docking areas. The system consists of the following components: 1. Fleet of electric bicycles – 20 units. 2. Scooters – 3 units. 3. Tricycle for persons with disabilities – 1 unit. 4. Bicycle rental station – 2 units. 5. Card issuing and recharging machine - 1 unit. 6. Card issuing location - 1 unit. 7. Data center - 1 unit. 8. Bike-sharing system license - 1 unit. The deadline by which any interested economic operator has the right to request clarifications or additional information regarding the procurement documentation is 20 days before the deadline for submission of tenders. The contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification on the 11th day before the deadline for submission of tenders. Requests for clarification will be submitted in an editable format. The contracting authority wishes to purchase an electric bicycle rental system (bike-sharing), which will consist of a system comprising a public rental station (docking), electrical equipment - bicycles/scooters and a tricycle for persons with disabilities, the related rental licenses, a card issuing and recharging machine, a card issuing location and a data center. The site intended for the investment is located within the built-up area of the Town of Baia Sprie, Maramureș County, the land being for public use. Through this project, an automated bicycle/scooter/tricycle rental system will be implemented in a “free-floating” system, with predefined docking areas.
