Opportunity description

Based on the contract to be concluded following the procurement procedure, works will be carried out for the implementation of the investment objective “Development of Traffic Ring II, section between A. Demetriade Street and J.H. Pestalozzi Blvd., construction of a road bridge and a pedestrian bridge over the Bega Canal”, SMIS code 357079. The contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification/additional information on the 12th day before the deadline established for the submission of tenders, provided that the requests are submitted at least 22 days before the deadline established for the submission of tenders. Clarifications submitted after this deadline will no longer be taken into consideration. The investment objective “Development of Traffic Ring II, section between A. Demetriade Street and J.H. Pestalozzi Blvd., construction of a road bridge and a pedestrian bridge over the Bega Canal” consists of carrying out the following main works: - road infrastructure works through the development of a carriageway with 4 traffic lanes; - construction of a new road bridge over the Bega Canal, designed for 4 traffic lanes, in order to ensure the continuity of Traffic Ring II and accommodate cross-traffic flows; - construction of a pedestrian bridge over the Bega Canal, intended exclusively for pedestrian and bicycle traffic; - construction and modernization of sidewalks, as well as the development of bicycle lanes adjacent to the carriageway and the bank of the Bega Canal; - development of green areas and execution of rehabilitation and modernization works on utility networks; - public lighting works, as well as vertical and horizontal road signage, in order to increase traffic safety.
