Romania – Construction work for water and sewage pipelines – BH CL 5 – EXTENSION AND REHABILITATION OF WATER SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE NETWORKS IN ORADEA – ZONE 4 – Rev.1

Opportunity description

The purpose is the execution of works related to the contract “BH-CL-5 Extension and rehabilitation of water supply and sewerage networks in Oradea – Zone 4 - Rev.1” The works include: a) Construction works. b) Supply and installation of technological machinery and equipment. c) Testing and commissioning. d) Remedying any defects arising during the Warranty Period of at least 36 months or 48/60 months e) Training the Beneficiary’s and/or Operator’s personnel. The consolidated response will be posted as follows: - EC will respond only to requests for clarification submitted by the 19th day before the deadline established for the submission of tenders; - EC will transmit the consolidated response to requests for clarification on the 15th day before the deadline established for the submission of tenders. The contracting entity reserves the right not to respond to any requests for clarification after the expiry of the deadline stipulated above. Execution of works related to contract BH-CL 05 - "Extension and rehabilitation of water supply and sewerage networks in Oradea - Zone 4 – Rev01", including: - Extension of the water supply network in the city of Oradea - Zone 4 with a length of L= 3.173 m, 34 hydrants, 257 service connections, 15 valve chambers; - Rehabilitation of the water supply network in the city of Oradea - Zone 4 with a length of L= 523 m, 5 hydrants, 44 service connections, 7 valve chambers; - Extension of the sewerage network in the city of Oradea - Zone 4 with a total length of L= 2.195 m, 344 connections, 149 manholes; - Construction of 4 new wastewater pumping stations and the related discharge pipelines with a total length of 633 m; • Wastewater pumping station SPAU28 (1A+1R) - Qtotal =4,00 l/s, H=8,00 mcA; • Wastewater pumping station SPAU33 (1A+1R) - Qtotal =4,00 l/s, H=9,00 mcA; • Wastewater pumping station SPAU29 (1A+1R) - Qtotal =4,00 l/s, H=6,00 mcA; • Wastewater pumping station SPAU35 (1A+1R) - Qtotal =4,00 l/s, H=6,00 mcA. The contract includes: a) Construction works; b) Supply and installation of technological machinery and equipment; c) Testing and commissioning; d) Remedying any defects arising during the Warranty Period of at least 36 months or 48/60 months Execution of the works and commissioning of the installations – 8 months from the date of issuance of the order to commence the works. The Warranty Period is at least 36 months or 48/60 months. The Contractor will organize its works according to its experience and own technology in accordance with the technical tender and the execution schedule (Gantt chart) included in the submitted tender. In the schedule, the contractor will establish the execution durations for each individual street, within the contract execution period of 8 months. Commencement of the execution of the works relating to the streets in the schedule will take place only upon the beneficiary’s written order. According to the General Cost Estimate concerning the expenditure necessary for the implementation of the entire regional project, Miscellaneous and unforeseen expenses amounting to 15.039.943 lei were not included in the estimated value of the contract. During the execution of the works, the operation of the existing networks at normal parameters will be ensured, as applicable.
