Romania – Electricity – Contract for the supply of low- and medium-voltage electricity

Opportunity description

Electricity is required for the rectifier substations from which the urban traction network for trams and trolleybuses is supplied, the transformer substations from which the company’s repair workshops and offices are supplied, the internal services of the rectifier substations, electric bus charging stations, passenger information panels, booths and automatic systems for selling travel tickets. The deadline by which the Contracting Authority will respond to all requests for clarification during the tender submission period is the 14th day before the submission deadline, provided that the Economic Operators submit their requests for clarification within the deadline established in ''Section I Contracting Authority'', subsection "I.3) Communication", namely 18 days before the submission deadline. Given that public transport by trams and trolleybuses and related activities (repair halls, workshops, offices and booths for issuing travel tickets) for all transport, including bus transport, cannot operate without electricity, the Technical Service prepared RN 10726/07.07.2026 and Tender Specifications no. 10727/07.07.2026 for the procurement of the electricity required for 12 (twelve) months, starting from 01.09.2026 at 00:00 until 31.08.2027 at 24:00, estimated at a quantity of 9,500 MWh, with the possibility of extension by Addendum for a maximum period of 4 months—in accordance with the legislation in force. Total estimated value of the contract: for 9,500 MWh of electricity, it is 8,543,500.00 lei, including ANRE tariffs and excise duty, excluding VAT, respectively 10,337,635.00 lei, including ANRE tariffs and excise duty, including VAT. - Supply of medium-voltage electricity = 9,250 MWh - Supply of low-voltage electricity = 250 MWh The estimated consumption was calculated in the total estimated value of the contract as follows: - until 31.12.2026 - 3032 MWh (2950 MWh MT x 893.00 lei + 82 MWh JT x 1,133.00 lei) = 2,727,256.00 lei - the estimated difference of 6468 MWh, respectively 6300 MWh MT x 893 lei + 168 MWh JT x 1,133.00 lei = 5,816,244 lei until 31.08.2027, respectively 31.12.2027 in the event that the supply contract is extended by a maximum of 4 months, in accordance with the law, for the year 2027.
