The Arad Forestry Directorate within the National Forest Administration – Romsilva wishes to purchase 1 (one) backhoe loader with various attachments, under a financial leasing arrangement, as well as technical maintenance services for a period of 4000 operating hours, CASCO and RCA insurance services, through a public procurement contract with a duration of 39 months (of which a maximum of 3 months relate to delivery, and 36 months relate to payments of leasing instalments, CASCO insurance services and technical maintenance. The machinery is required for the maintenance and repair of forest roads managed by the Arad Forestry Directorate. The subject matter of the contract consists of the supply of a backhoe loader equipped with attachments enabling the performance of specific road maintenance and repair works, in a quantity of 1 (one) unit, as well as the provision of maintenance services (technical inspections) for a period of 4000 operating hours from delivery. The contract also covers the purchase of financial leasing services for the machinery and attachments, as well as CASCO and RCA insurance services. The procurement is being carried out in the context of the fact that the Arad Forestry Directorate manages a network of over 1200 km of forest roads, and in recent years numerous disasters have occurred as a result of adverse weather phenomena, making machinery necessary to reopen the affected forest roads to traffic.
