Romania – Insurance services – Comprehensive insurance services for aircraft and personnel

Opportunity description

The program comprises three types of insurance: I. All-risks CASCO for a number of approx. 209 aircraft belonging to the Romanian Aeroclub. The number of aircraft insured under CASCO will be updated depending on their commissioning or, respectively, decommissioning. The Romanian Aeroclub will provide timely notice of any changes. II. Third-party liability for the operation of its own aircraft, flight school, aerobatics and aerial work, for a number of approximately 243 aircraft. The number of aircraft insured against third-party liability will be updated depending on their commissioning or, respectively, decommissioning. The Romanian Aeroclub will provide timely notice of any changes. III. Professional flight personnel employed by the Romanian Aeroclub/volunteer contract/authorized natural person (PFA), technical personnel employed by the Romanian Aeroclub/volunteer contract/authorized natural person (PFA)/contractual relationship through third-party companies, students and registered athletes of the Romanian Aeroclub, employed auxiliary personnel, other persons on occasional flights. The total contract price may be modified/supplemented if the number of aircraft increases or if it is reduced through the decommissioning of certain aircraft. When the Purchaser identifies the need to modify the subject matter of the contract by increasing or reducing the number of aircraft, it will notify the Service Provider accordingly, specifying the exact aircraft and their value, accompanied by technical details. The Service Provider will respond within 5 days of receiving this notification, and the parties will agree on the modification of the subject matter and price of the contract through an addendum. The modification of the subject matter and price of the contract through an addendum will be limited to the number of aircraft that are added or removed, and the contract price will be modified by reference to the difference in the insurance premium relating to these aircraft. The contracting authority will respond to all requests for clarification on the 11th day before the deadline for submission of tenders. Number of days before the deadline for submission of tenders/applications until which clarifications may be requested: 18 days.
