Opportunity description

The general objective of the DANUBIUS-RO project is the construction, equipping and operationalization of the Romanian components of the pan-European distributed research infrastructure. The purpose of this contract is to expand the research capabilities of INCDSB – Murighiol Research Center with equipment capable of providing critical information on the biodiversity of the Romanian section of the Danube–Danube Delta–Black Sea system and generating data for conducting medium- and long-term statistical studies on the evolution of biodiversity and its role in the natural regulatory mechanisms of food chains. To achieve the indicators undertaken through the DANUBIUS-RO project and carry out the activities provided for, with the attainment of the results undertaken through funding application code SMIS 304273, the contracting authority is interested in purchasing an integrated system of electron microscopy equipment and accessories: Transmission Electron Microscope (HR-TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy System with integrated 3D reconstruction system (HR-SEM), installation, commissioning, training, post-delivery service during the warranty period: 1. Ultra-high-resolution Scanning and Transmission Electron Microscope (S/TEM), with STEM imaging, automated tomography, single-particle analysis and structural compositional analysis – 1 unit; 2. High-resolution Scanning Electron Microscope with 3D imaging (3D-SEM) and compositional analysis, with built-in ultramicrotome, for investigating biological samples – 1 unit; 3. Liquid nitrogen generator, to cover the liquid nitrogen requirements for cryogenically preserving biological samples and operating microscopes and cryomicroscopy equipment – 1 unit; 4. High-purity gaseous nitrogen generator for operating electron microscopes – 1 unit; 5. Digital multimeter – 1 unit. To achieve the indicators undertaken through the DANUBIUS-RO project and carry out the activities provided for, with the attainment of the results undertaken through funding application code SMIS 304273, the contracting authority is interested in purchasing an AFM microscope (Atomic Force Microscope) for investigating samples from the Danube Delta–Black Sea ecosystems, installation, commissioning, training, post-delivery service during the warranty period: • Atomic force microscope – 1 unit. The technical specifications of the equipment to be supplied, as well as the requirements regarding installation, commissioning, personnel training, testing and post-delivery service during the warranty period, are detailed in the Tender Specifications. To achieve the indicators undertaken through the DANUBIUS-RO project and carry out the activities provided for, with the attainment of the results undertaken through funding application code SMIS 304273, the contracting authority is interested in purchasing an integrated confocal Raman microscopy system, installation, commissioning, training, post-delivery service during the warranty period: • Confocal Raman microscope with accessories – a hybrid system providing complementary FLIM / PLIM imaging techniques as well as epifluorescence measurements – 1 unit. Automatic tissue processor with resin infiltration for electron microscopy and optical microscopy – 1 system 2. Ultramicrotome with cryo-ultrasectioning module – 1 system 3. Device for contrasting TEM sections on grids – 1 system 4. Critical-point drying system for SEM applications – 1 system 5. System for coating with thin layers of metal and carbon – 1 system 6. Automatic tissue processor with paraffin infiltration, for optical microscopy – 1 system 7. Paraffin embedding station – 1 unit. 8. Semi-automatic rotary microtome for paraffin sections – 1 system 9. Automatic slide staining device for optical microscopy – 1 system 10. Fully motorized high-resolution inverted optical microscope – 1 system 11. Fully automated optical microscope with touchscreen control – 1 system 12. Fully motorized fluorescence stereomicroscope – 1 system 13. Binocular magnifier – 5 units; 14. Binocular magnifier with integrated color camera – 1 unit.
