Opportunity description

The purpose of this award procedure is to procure BEAM-DUMPs for the electron beam in accordance with the Technical Specifications, to stop the electron beams generated by the LINAC during operation. Pursuant to the provisions of Article 160 of Law No. 98/2016, as subsequently amended and supplemented, interested economic operators shall request clarifications or additional information regarding the procurement documentation up to 20 days before the deadline for the submission of tenders. The contracting authority shall respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification/additional information submitted by economic operators, on the 12th day before the deadline for the submission of tenders, in accordance with Article 161 of Law No. 98/2016, as subsequently amended and supplemented, read in conjunction with Article 27(3) of Government Decision No. 395/2016, as subsequently amended and supplemented. The purpose of this award procedure is to procure BEAM-DUMPs for the electron beam in accordance with the Technical Specifications, to stop the electron beams generated by the LINAC during operation. The Beam-dump systems are an essential component for the safe operation of the linear electron accelerator that will be used to produce high-intensity gamma radiation within the ELI-GBS system.
