Description of the proposed concept Given the complexity of cranial and spinal neurosurgery procedures, the operating block must be equipped with dedicated equipment that enables surgical procedures to be carried out under optimal conditions of safety, precision and efficiency. The use of high-performance dedicated systems contributes to optimizing the entire operating workflow, from patient positioning to surgical access and the performance of bone resection procedures. This equipment enables minimally traumatic procedures to be performed, with protection of neurovascular structures, reduction of operating time, facilitation of the use of intraoperative imaging and rapid adaptation to the particularities of each procedure. At the same time, it increases patient safety and the ergonomics of the surgical team, being essential for addressing a broad spectrum of neurosurgical pathologies, both cranial and spinal, including complex cases. Piezoelectric surgical system A piezoelectric surgical system used in spinal neurosurgery is equipment intended for high-precision osteotomies and bone resections, based on piezoelectric ultrasonic vibrations. It enables the selective cutting of bone structures while protecting adjacent soft tissues, such as the dura mater, nerve roots and blood vessels. The system is used in procedures such as laminectomies, foraminotomies, vertebral decompressions and other complex spinal procedures, contributing to increased surgical safety, reduced tissue trauma and improved operative precision. Operating table dedicated to spinal procedures, Jackson Table type An operating table dedicated to spinal procedures, Jackson Table type, is a positioning system designed for spinal surgery, providing optimal access to the surgical field and ergonomic support for the patient. Thanks to its open frame, the table allows unrestricted use of intraoperative imaging equipment and facilitates the reduction of abdominal pressure, contributing to reduced intraoperative bleeding. At the same time, its modular construction provides the flexibility to safely rotate and reposition the patient onto either side or between prone and supine positions, without compromising spinal alignment, thus adapting to the requirements of different surgical techniques and the operating workflow.
