LOT 1: “Photoelectron Spectroscopy Equipment” The equipment will be used for the physico-chemical characterization of thin films and interfaces, through the analysis of the elemental composition and chemical states of semiconductor, oxide, or other types of materials. It will enable the investigation of the surface and interface properties of micro- and nano-electronic structures, for research and development and prototyping applications in the field of advanced materials and semiconductor technologies. LOT 2: “Confocal Raman Microscopy Equipment” The equipment will be used for the physico-chemical characterization of micro- and nanomaterials, through Raman analysis and imaging of semiconductor materials, thin films, nanomaterials, polymers, and microfabricated structures. It will enable the identification of the chemical composition, crystalline structure, and spatial distribution of materials, with high spatial resolution, for research and development and prototyping applications in the field of advanced materials and micro- and nanoelectronics. The equipment will be provided with a computerized control system, computer, and dedicated software. Although both pieces of equipment are intended for the characterization of advanced materials, they use different physical principles, have distinct technical configurations, complementary functionalities, and meet different experimental needs. The pieces of equipment are not interchangeable and cannot be combined into a single lot without affecting the technical and functional objectives pursued through the project, as well as without unjustifiably restricting competition between economic operators specializing in each category of equipment. The time limits within which the contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification/additional information requested by interested economic operators: on the 11th day before the deadline established in the contract notice for the submission of tenders. The number of days up to which clarifications may be requested, before the deadline for the submission of tenders, is 18 days. “Photoelectron Spectroscopy Equipment” - The main purpose of the equipment is to enable the advanced analysis of semiconductor materials, thin films, and interfaces, given that surface and interface properties decisively influence the performance of micro- and nano-electronic devices and structures. “Confocal Raman Microscopy Equipment” Confocal Raman Microscopy Equipment” - equipment dedicated to the physico-chemical characterization of micro- and nanomaterials (oxide, semiconductor, or other types). The main purpose of the equipment is to enable RAMAN analysis and imaging of semiconductor materials, thin films, nanomaterials, polymers, and microfabricated structures, given that surface properties decisively influence the performance of micro- and nano-electronic devices and structures.
