Romania – Plastic products – Support structure for the neutron detectors of the ELIGANT-TN 2.0 experimental assembly

Opportunity description

The purpose of this award procedure is the procurement of a structure to support a number of 74 3^He-type neutron detectors in the optimal neutron emission detection configuration, this new assembly being hereinafter referred to as “ELIGANT-TN 2.0”. The subject of this procurement procedure thus covers the supply, installation and testing of this support structure in Experimental Area E9 of the ELI-NP Experimental Building, using the 3^He-type neutron detectors already in the department's possession. The procurement thus concerns a critical component of the ELI-NP infrastructure, facilitating not only the commissioning of the Gamma Beam System (GBS) in the first instance, but also the achievement of superior quality of the experimental data recorded and increased operational flexibility for the nuclear physics applications to be carried out subsequently within the facility. Pursuant to the provisions of Art. 160 of Law No. 98/2016, as subsequently amended and supplemented, interested economic operators shall request clarifications or additional information regarding the award documentation up to 20 days before the deadline for submission of tenders. The contracting authority shall respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification/additional information submitted by economic operators, on the 12th day before the deadline for submission of tenders, in accordance with Art. 161 of Law No. 98/2016, as subsequently amended and supplemented, in conjunction with Art. 27 para. (3) of Government Decision No. 395/2016, as subsequently amended and supplemented.
