Romania – Railway-track maintenance services – Maintenance services for the railway line at the Făurei Railway Testing Center

The Romanian Railway Authority - AFER wishes to procure maintenance services for the Large Ring railway lines at the Făurei Railway Testing Center, with the conclusion of a contract for a period of 24 months, for an estimated quantity of services covering approximately 25 km of railway track. Note: The contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification within the deadline of 10 days before the deadline established for the submission of tenders. Pursuant to Articles 160 and 161 of Law 98/2016, as subsequently amended and supplemented, the Contracting Authority’s obligation to respond to requests for clarification is conditional upon the submission of requests for clarification 12 days before the deadline for the submission of tenders. The procurement of maintenance services for the Large Ring railway lines at the Făurei Railway Testing Center will consist of tamping, lifting to level and/or lining work, profiling of the crushed-stone ballast bed, as well as preparatory, ancillary, and completion operations, in accordance with the minimum requirements established in the tender specifications and the orders/work orders issued by the Purchaser. The procurement of services will be carried out with the conclusion of a contract for a period of 24 months, for an estimated quantity of services covering approximately 25 km of railway track. During this period, the Service Provider will ensure one complete tamping and track-profiling intervention on the Large Ring and specific interventions whenever technically necessary and requested by the Purchaser.
