Romania – Transformer substation – “Replacement of Transformer 7 - 250 MVA, 400/110 kV in the Cluj Est 400/110/10 kV substation”

Opportunity description

The investment consists mainly of the purchase, delivery, installation and commissioning of a transformer having the same characteristics as, or characteristics superior to, those of the transformer to be replaced, including transport and all necessary approvals up to the place of operation. The new transformer will be equipped with a tank explosion and fire prevention system. To carry out the investment, the Supplier will also provide the necessary services as described in the Technical Specifications for services. The replacement of Transformer 7-250 MVA in the Cluj Est 400/110/10 kV substation will have the following positive effects: - increasing the operational safety of the Cluj Est 400/110/10 kV substation and of the electricity transmission system, thus improving the performance indicators provided for by the RET Technical Code; - the operational use of a new transformer characterized by improved technical parameters will increase operational safety and significantly reduce maintenance costs; - the new equipment and accessories supplied will have a warranty and support from the suppliers to ensure the provision, if needed, of spare parts and support for the implemented software applications; - the negative impact on the environment and electricity losses in the network will be reduced; - the risk of fire at Transformer 7-250 MVA, 400/110 kV will be eliminated by installing an ISI system. The contracting entity will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification/additional information, as follows: on the 17th calendar day from the publication of the contract notice and - on the 11th calendar day before the deadline for submission of tenders. The contracting entity will respond only to requests for clarification submitted by economic operators by the established deadline, pursuant to Art. 29 para. (3) of Government Decision 394/2016.
