The subject of the design contest is: - obtaining the highest-quality artistic and spatial design for the exhibition through a design contest (with the awarding of prizes); - subsequently awarding the contract to the winning participant in the design contest through a negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to § 81 letter h) and § 82 of the Public Procurement Act. The subject of the subsequent contract will be the provision of services for the comprehensive implementation of the exhibition “Old Nation – Young State” according to the winning design, within the following scope: a) Development of the design to the implementation level - architectural and scenographic design and implementation drawings of all exhibition elements - graphic design and print-ready materials (panelling, wayfinding system, maps, descriptions), - detailed design of audiovisual and interactive elements (script, storyboards, technical specifications), - bills of quantities and specifications for production and installation b) Furniture and scenographic element production and supply services - production, supply and surface finishing of all physical elements of the exhibition (joinery and metal structures, surface finishes), - display cases, stands, platforms, plinths and other supporting structures for exhibits, - props, replicas and facsimiles of collection items according to the approved design, - spatial representation of historical figures (including modelling, surface finishing and costuming). c) Graphic design, DTP and printing services - preparation and supply of information and text panels, wall graphics, maps, pictograms, - printed materials for interactive stations and accompanying materials, - installation and final finishing of graphic elements in the exhibition space. d) Services for the creation and supply of audiovisual and interactive content - audiovisual programmes (projections, video sequences, animations, audio tracks), - audiovisual characters conveying the story to visitors (including image, voice and subtitles), - interactive software and UX (timelines, interactive walls, game, AR/VR elements), - language versions and subtitles in at least SK, EN, DE. e) AV/IT hardware supply and integration services - AV equipment (displays, touchscreens, projectors, speakers, sensors, players, media servers), - IT components and network elements within the exhibition - control and server solutions for content playback and management, - lighting equipment intended for the exhibition, including lighting control, - exhibition sound system and localised directional sound solutions or equivalent solutions f) Lighting, sound, electrical and network services within the exhibition - implementation of electrical installations and wiring required for the operation of exhibition elements, - connection to existing wiring in the exhibition space, - wiring within exhibition elements (display cases, platforms, structures), - measurement, testing and commissioning g) Installation, integration, testing and commissioning - transport of all elements to the implementation site, - installation of furniture, display cases and scenography and installation of AV/IT equipment, - physical integration of analogue and digital elements, - functionality testing and trial operation, - rectification of identified deficiencies, - basic operator training and handover of operating documentation. f) Author’s supervision and project management - author’s supervision over the implementation of the exhibition, - project management and coordination of disciplines (work schedule, coordination of production, installation and integration, participation in inspection days). The subject of the subsequent contract expressly does not include construction modifications to the building, in particular - interventions in the building’s load-bearing and non-load-bearing structures, - structural modifications, - modifications to ventilation, heating and cooling (except for elements integrated directly into the exhibition elements), - new building utility lines and modifications outside the exhibition space, - any construction work that does not fall under the installation and fitting of exhibition elements. The detailed scope of performance of the subsequent contract will be specified in the negotiated procedure on the basis of the winning design and the breakdown of items stated in the indicative itemised budget submitted by the winner in its design, structured according to the contest budget documents. At this point in this text field of the form, the contracting authority states the total estimated value of the contract, because the European design contest form does not have a separate field for it. _________________________________________________________________________ The estimated value of the subsequent contract for the provision of services awarded in a negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to § 81 letter h) of the Public Procurement Act has been determined on the basis of an expert estimate at EUR 1 297 500.- excluding VAT.
