The purpose of this procurement procedure is to define the characteristics and specifications to be met by the materials, equipment, installations, and services required for the installation and commissioning of a Mode S secondary radar at the Málaga-2 (Málaga) site, including the installation of the 1090ES receiving antenna system, the comprehensive renewal of the management system (including, therefore, remote management from Málaga TWR and Seville ACC), the installation of a monitoring transponder, as well as site acceptance testing (SAT) of the installed equipment. In addition, it will be necessary to adapt the PSR radar to the new Mode S radar installation, which will include the renewal of the management machines and a change in the combiner function to support Mode S data.
