The Department of the Environment is responsible for various weather stations that provide continuous, high-quality information on critical environmental variables. The reliable and continuous collection of these data is essential to ensure the scientific validity of the studies conducted and to maintain the integrity of the time series used in research. The procurement of this service therefore responds to the need to keep the five weather stations of the Department of the Environment in optimal operating condition, ensuring the availability, reliability, and continuity of the data necessary for the fulfillment of the projects and research activities carried out by CIEMAT. The procurement is structured into three separate lots, taking into account the specific needs of each research unit and the geographical location of the facilities.
