Opportunity description

The ETCS train control system is used on the SBB Infrastructure network. Eurobalises are an essential component of the trackside equipment. The aim of this procurement procedure is to select a strategic contractual partner (Single Source) who will ensure the long-term availability of the Eurobalises and technical support throughout the entire product life cycle for ETCS Levels 1 and 2. The contract comprises a framework contract for the supply of hardware and a service and support contract. Hardware Supply of Eurobalises for ETCS Levels 1 and 2, including fastening materials, track connections, balise deactivation devices, and programming and testing equipment. The framework contract will be concluded for a fixed term of ten years and may subsequently be extended by the contracting authority three times for five years each (maximum total term of 25 years). Engineering and Services Provision of the required programming and testing applications and performance of programming and testing services before commissioning and on site. Service and Support Conclusion of a service and support contract for the entire product life cycle, including software maintenance, software updates, obsolescence management, and guaranteed response and repair times.
