Opportunity description
The Republic and Canton of Geneva, on behalf of the Special Education Service (hereinafter: SPS) within the Department of Public Education, Training and Youth, wishes to find a service provider capable of supplying assistive technologies (hereinafter: AT) for children with special educational needs or disabilities (BEPH) receiving mainstream education, in accordance with the requirements set out in the specifications and the tender dossier. In addition, services (such as the provision, downloading, installation, and configuration of AT, as well as training for beneficiary children), also mentioned in the specifications, are sought. Indeed, since 2025, the SPS has been responsible for equipping children with special educational needs or disabilities who are able to receive mainstream education by means of said AT, insofar as, since that date, said children have been integrated into the standard school curriculum of the Canton of Geneva. Previously, this task was the responsibility of the Disability Insurance Office. AT includes in particular IT tools (such as PCs, Mac Neo, accessories, software). The Joint Procurement Office is responsible for launching and conducting this public tender procedure. Procedure: open.
