Opportunity description

The Main Information Technology Department is the central competence and service center for information technology for the Cantonal Administration, the courts, and the municipalities. Among other things, it manages the client fleet for the Cantonal Administration, as well as for the three political municipalities of the Canton of Glarus and those of the cantonal and vocational school. With the present invitation to tender, the Main Information Technology Department aims to select a reliable contractual and supply partner for convertible and clamshell notebooks for the next five years. The supplier acts as the general contractor. A framework agreement is to be concluded that defines prescribed technical, logistical, and financial parameters in order to call off the corresponding devices as needed within the term of the contract. Furthermore, the products put out to tender should be capable of being integrated into the existing environment as effectively as possible and enable a smooth process when commissioning new products.
