Opportunity description

The subject of this procurement is the provision of night duty from 17:00 to 07:00 by a private security services company. In view of the operating size of Glarus Prison – with a maximum occupancy of 13 incarcerated persons – the deployment of a single person on site is considered an appropriate and proportionate solution. In the event of an increased need for intervention or uncertainties regarding the measures to be taken, the person deployed by the provider must immediately contact the on-call member of the regular care staff and – where provided for – the designated third-party bodies. The contract essentially comprises standby duty with a rest component (sleeping accommodation is available), during which the deployed person must perform supervisory, security and care duties as required by the circumstances and, depending on the situation, carry out minor administrative and operational tasks in accordance with the instructions of the prison management. The deployed person must be present in the facility throughout the entire duty period and act immediately when necessary. Procedure: open.
